源自英国维多利亚和阿尔伯特博物馆首个外国分馆，由普利兹克奖大师隈研吾设计创作--苏格兰V&A丹迪博物馆，这也是苏格兰首个设计博物馆。博物馆外观用石材叠层错落呈现出复杂的几何造型，如苏格兰东北海岸那震撼人心的峭壁风光；建筑从陆地延展至泰河，亦如海港城市大地与水的相融与对话，是对城市的热爱，更是对自然的敬畏。 Originated from the first foreign branch of the Victoria and Albert Museum in the United Kingdom, the Scotland's V & A Dandy Museum designed and created by the Pritzker Prize master Kengo Kuma, which is also Scotland's first design museum. The exterior of the museum is designed with stone to show complex geometric shapes, such as the breathtaking cliff scenery of the northeast coast of Scotland. The building stretches from land to the Thames river, as if having a integration and dialogue between the land and water, also expressing love to the city and the awe of nature.
